It is God who works within you — both to will and to do of his good pleasure. All things are yours, including the gravelly part that you don’t like.

He’s not about to give you even your just deserts. If we got what we deserved, we’d all be in Hell already. But God is merciful.

There is no virtue in being a human bulldozer that just walks roughshod over people’s feelings by what you say.

If you keep on just the way you are, what is going to be the impact upon the people who know you, who observe you, work with you, and live with you?
