Don’t try to convince God that you’re other than you are. God will take you in by His grace, words, and all. He knows you through and through.

Let the Lord Jesus, by faith, into every area of your life– -basement and attic and all the rest.

The normal condition of a Christian’s heart is overflow. Overflow. There’s a difference between cistern and a spring.

The love of God, in its essence, is self-giving for redemptive purposes. He says you can take that love, that kind of love by faith.

Brotherly love means open your heart and your life to people. It also means compassion for the suffering.

Go to Calvary and let God wash your own soul with His love and cleanse your life by His truth and begin to make your personality shine with His Spirit shining out of you. You’ll find your relationship with people is vastly improved.

Godliness is not a pose. It’s not a covering. It’s not an act. It is a person controlling your life.

Patience starts inside. The ability to stay down and not give up or blow up comes not from self-discipline only.

God has built surrender into your bones. You will always give up to something or somebody. The secret of inner strength is to give up to the Lord Jesus.

To really know God is to commit yourself to Him — to let Him work in your life and the lives of others around you, and to tie yourself to His eternal Word.
