One of the cures of discouragement is just being able to tell somebody else who cares and who understands. Not that they’re going to change the circumstances, but they care enough to spend some time with you and, and listen to you.
The deep desire of seeing others standing fast in the Lord should be what drives us in terms of ministry and caring for others. Our faith during times of trouble and how we handle it will help someone else believe that they can make it too.
What is this business of abiding in Christ? It means that you take by faith all He has for you and receive in turn by faith all of His blessed presence, power, and enablement.
God often uses trials to refine the church. No matter your current situation, He is the God of second chances, and Jesus continues to make intercession for us.
God doesn’t always answer the “why” questions of our lives, but He does show He is there. Don’t ask Him why things are happening. Instead, ask Him to get you through and show you the opportunity and growth for your life in it. He always will.
When you are down to nothing, you realize God is enough. Yield to Him. If you do that, He’ll use you. God is enough for you, and you are complete in Him. Everything you’ll ever need is found in your relationship with Him.
