Comparing disobedience in a life to obedience to God is saying, “not my will but Yours.”

Any time your conscience is outraged and you don’t settle things, you are weakened, hindered, and deterred from doing that which is effective in the Will of God.

Thoughtless and selfish words and actions may indeed be something that you think you’re getting away with. Of course that’s doubtful. You never get away with anything do you, in this life?

The blessed truth is that there is another Somebody who is there. He’s real. You can talk to him and He’ll talk to you. His name is Jesus.

Establish new believers by keeping in contact, listening actively, addressing their needs with God’s Word, help them develop an action plan based on their need by using God’s Word.

This is what we mean by the commitment. It’s the jump. It’s a step of faith. That’s what the theologians call it: The step of faith.

Take just a few moments with your Lord and honestly discuss with Him the whole day so that He can put it in perspective.

When you need to hear the voice of God, go to the Word and pray – then, listen.

It is possible, beloved, to go through the motions, and yet, not be right with God.

A pure heart is the only kind that can show God’s love fervently.
